Charting Impact

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Self-reported by organization

  1. What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to provide the best engineering and technical support to the communities affected by the Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in the Philippines.

Also we are monitoring the situation with the massive tornadoes outbreak in the United States.
  2. What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are planning to request contributions from different US Corporations and the general public. In the next days we will be submitting our request for in-kind contribution and monetary contributions to US Corporations, financial institutions, American trucks factories, construction equipment factories, dealers, owners and contractors, etc, etc. Also, we are considering to apply for the Federal government grants in order to get funding for all the NGO's involved with the rebuilding and recovery of the communities affected by the flooding and massive tornadoes outbreak.
  3. What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Right now we don't have the resources to face the latest disasters, but we believe that with the support of the American people we will have the capabilities to get the job done in partnership with the private sector and affected communities. The most funds we have the most extensive work can be done.
  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
The progress will be evident as soon we move forward and we get the scope of civil work done. Please, see the the following Project Gallery where we are modeling our designs for Haiti: http://sites.google.com/site/planhaiti/projects-gallery More comments on this issue will be posted soon.
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
We are still working on th preliminary phase. We are trying to put together all the components and factors that are on the table due to the magnitude and extension of the devastation.
