Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Camp No Limits
We have 12 camps nationwide staffed by physical and occupational therapists, adult amputee mentors, prosthetists, and mental health care professionals. Our focus is on education, empowerment and support. Educating our campers, parents, and siblings on how to live independently in their homes, communities, and schools. We educate families on life skills such as tying their shoes, getting dressed, awareness of gait deviations, learning to run, jump, and basic care of prosthetics. Campers and families have a chance to network with other families, and health care professionals and volunteers.
Camp sNOw Limits
Our winter sports camp delivered in partnership with Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation in Western Maine. Campers learn to ski and/or snowboard with the staff and volunteers from Maine Adaptive and network with other families. Parents and Siblings have the opportunity to participate and learn to ski as well from Sunday River Ski Resort. All participants are involved with winter group activities at night including snow tubing, snowman making and ice skating.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Provide life skills education and awareness of prosthetic technology to campers and families by Physical and Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, and Adult Amputee Mentors.
Develop and establish a mentor program for our teen and young adult mentors to provide leadership skills, education, self confidence, communication skills, and social media awareness and guiding principles.
Empower campers and families with the life skills needed to effectively complete activities of daily living, communicate needs related to limb loss/limb differences within their communities to live as independently as possible.
Support families by providing resources and making connections within their communities to raise awareness and understanding to individuals living with limb loss or limb differences.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Continue to market on social media, redesigning our website, word of mouth, attending conferences related to the field of health care, prosthetics, camping, youth activities, sports and recreation groups. Further develop partnerships with organizations who value a similar mission or a mission that will compliment or mission.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have now impacted over 345 families in 2015 and over 250 volunteers who can now help to spread awareness throughout the country. We will continue to keep our organization as transparent as possible reinvesting our donations into our programming and developing new ways of outreach. We will continue to network and partner with various Universities across the country including Physical and Occupational Therapy Schools to continue our mission to educate, empower, and support.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We will be launching our INSPIRE Program soon.
