Mission Statement

The mission of the Migraine Research Foundation is to end the debilitating pain of migraine by raising funds for innovative research to further the understanding of its causes, to develop improved treatment targets, and to find the cure.

Impact statement

MRF is the only nonprofit that raises money for innovative migraine research grants. Among the programs we fund are our annual research grants and For Our Children initiatives to combat childhood migraine. To date, MRF has awarded 33 migraine research grants.

Migraine research is very important and under-funded.  MRF provides seed money grants through a competitive process for research projects that will ultimately lead to better treatment and quality of life for migraine sufferers.
