What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Mainstage Productions
We perform six Mainstage Productions each year, which usually run for nine ticketed performances plus a free charity performance for local nonprofit groups and senior centers, spread over three consecutive weekends. These are probably what we are most widely recognized for in the community. As in all of our public performances, we have assisted listening devices available for individuals with visual and auditory impairments.
TheatriKIDS Youth Program
• TheatriKIDS perform four plays annually (five if you count our Stage Buddies production), and there were six week-long workshops offered
• Our Education Director, Joe Maniglia, received the Governor's Arts Award as Arts Educator of the Year (a state-wide honor)
• 163 children attended summer camps, and 44 students participated in summer performance workshops
• Many students had their tuition either partially or completely waived due to successful fundraising activities
• Youth camps will expand in 2017 to take place during spring and holiday breaks
Stage Buddies
Stage Buddies is a free youth theater program that brings together individuals aged 8-21 with special needs alongside previous TheatriKIDS participants and they put on a show together. It was founded by a local high school student, Areya Kugler, and will perform Disney's "The Aristocrats" for its third annual production in 2017.
