BIO

Gleb's passion for helping people use science to make effective decisions and reach their goals led him and his wife, Agnes Vishnevkin, to co-found Intentional Insights in the Winter of 2014. Since that time, Gleb has collaborated with a group of like-minded enthusiasts to translate academic research on rational thinking and emotional intelligence into pragmatic strategies for a wide audience. He was always excited about such ideas, leading him to get a PhD researching the intersection of history and psychology, specifically focusing on emotions, meaning and purpose, decision making, and agency in historical contexts. Gleb currently holds a tenure-track professorship at The Ohio State University and is a member of the Decision Sciences Collaborative there. He published dozens of peer-reviewed essays in academic venues in the US, UK, France, Germany, Russia, and elsewhere, as well as numerous popular articles, and serves on a number of boards, for instance as the Science Advisor on the Planet Purpose Advisory Board.

STATEMENT FROM THE President

"Our Mission
We empower people to refine and reach their goals by providing research-based content to help improve thinking, feeling, and behavior patterns.

Our Vision
We envision a world where individuals, organizations, and governments rely on research-based strategies, constantly improving their ability to evaluate reality clearly and make effective decisions, enabling all of us to live optimally happy, healthy, fulfilling and flourishing lives.

What We Do
We create engaging content such as blogs, short and long videos, in-person workshops, meme-style images, books, apps, online classes, etc. We also provide coaching and mentoring for those engaging with our content. Our content areas include effective decision-making, mental and emotional well-being, setting and achieving goals, meaning and purpose, happiness, relationships, communication, personal organization and time management, leadership and organizational development, and others. This content is based on recent research in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, medicine, and other relevant disciplines. We present this content in a fun and engaging manner designed to appeal to a broad audience. We provide our content both through our own channels, and we have also established collaborative partnerships with a number of major reason-oriented organizations to distribute our content. "
