Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community calendar
Comprehensive calendar of classical performances in Seattle and Puget Sound.
Spontaneous Free Tickets
Spontaneous Free Tickets is an informal way for us to reach out to listeners and build audiences for the community. The tickets are donated by local performing arts organizations like Northwest Sinfonietta, Seattle Chamber Music Society, and the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra.
Anyone is eligible to sign up for Spontaneous Free Ticket alerts. Members receive an email as soon as tickets are available. Ticket recipients are selected at random a few days to a week before each performance.
After each concert, we send ticket winners a feedback survey asking if they’d like to join the ensemble’s mailing list and/or send them a note. The listeners are responsive and their notes are inspiring. This helps grow the audience-performer relationship in a way that is both meaningful and lasting.
In the 2016-2017 season, we filled 700 seats through the SFT program.
