Real talk for real change.
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
A high number of offenders re-offend after release. Many offenders feel as though they have limited choices on the outside and turn to crime and/or drugs to sustain themselves, thus perpetuating the cycle of incarceration. The present criminal justice system costs billions of dollars and is not correcting the problem.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Gang Diversion
We understand the origins of street gangs and we also understand that they fill the needs of young people who live in circumstances in which those needs might otherwise not be met.
We offer a 24-hour gang diversion course, as well as a long-term 100 hour program, both designed for those impacted by gang life and gang violence.
Life Skills
Our Life Skills program is designed to improve members’ post-release success through the provision of life skills coursework and training. The coursework provided generally covers a variety of topics, including communication, anger management, goal setting, career exploration, job skills, entrepreneurship, time management, parenting and family skills, and budgeting and financial management.
Spiritual Fellowship
Spiritual growth is an important part of overall personal development. Belief in a power greater than oneself, while not a prerequisite, does provide a healthy basis for acceptance of many of life’s principles.
Whatever your personal beliefs, we offer multi-faith, non-denominational spiritual fellowship and study, led by spiritual teachers speaking “real talk.” We plan to have guest speakers from different faiths from throughout the county.
Substance Misuse Counseling
We’re planning to provide outpatient substance misuse counseling in individual and group settings. for members who have been identified as experimenting, using or misusing drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or other mood or mind-altering substances.
Treatment will be client-centered and based on the individual’s needs. We hope to add individualized drug counseling, group therapy, as well as family counseling and advocacy.
Mentoring Program
Our mentors will help you navigate the pitfalls of life on the outs, providing guidance and support along the way. Our mentors shares knowledge, experience, and advice on a variety of topics.
Our mentors are volunteers; they don’t get paid for mentoring. Any of our incredible volunteers, our directors and staff, or graduates of our various programs can choose to become mentors.
All mentors must have graduated from either a recognized substance abuse/misuse program or mentorship training program from another agency, or from one of our programs. Final decisions about acceptance are made by our Executive Director.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to Reduce Recidivism in the areas we serve by 50%.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our board of directors is made up of professionals with decades of experience in their fields, from law enforcement and corrections, to education, and family and childrens' services. By bringing together the experience and extended networks of these professionals, Success Reentry Solutions is able to present a proven, evidence-based program to address the needs of our clients.
Our programs include Gang Diversion, Life Skills training, Job Readiness Training, Personal Development program, Mentoring Program, Substance Misuse counseling, and a non-denominational Spiritual Fellowship program.
By teaching our clients not only the tools they need to be successful, but new ways of thinking, they become better equipped to deal with issues and overcome obstacles that previously kept them in the cycle of incarceration.
We believe that when a person changes the way they think about their circumstances, their circumstances change. And there's no better time than right now to start making a positive change in your life. That's why our motto is "It's Now O'clock!"

What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have three part-time Directors who also volunteer their talents and expertise to the program, as well as a growing number of volunteers who bring their own unique skills and experience to provide services to our clients.
We are currently able to offer services to 10-20 clients per month from alternating leased or donated venues (such as community center rooms, faith-based facility classrooms, and the like).
We are pursuing additional funding to allow us to secure a permanent location of our own from which to operate, and hire additional part-time and full-time staff to provide our services on a continuing basis.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Success Reentry Solutions is fully formed, with three Directors and five volunteers, and growing. We are already capable of serving 10 to 20 clients. As soon as we secure funding to secure a permanent operating location, we will be able to serve 100-200 clients per month.
What's next for us is to partner with our local community organizations to expand our outreach, as well as to apply for funding from government and private grants, government and private contracts, and solicit donations.
Our goal is to be fully funded and operational by January 1, 2019.
