Limit your search by using more than one keyword or additional criteria such as city, state, or zip code.

I can't find a particular organization when searching by its name.

Use the organization's official name. Sometimes a charity does business under one name but is officially known by the IRS by another. For instance, FACES is the trade name of Family and Community Education & Support, Inc. Unless an organization has provided GuideStar with its trade name, it will only come up under a search for its official IRS name.

How do I find the national headquarters of an organization if I don't know where the headquarters is located?

Try limiting your search by choosing the largest revenue range. If nothing comes up, choose the next highest range.
