Our state and MSA (metropolitan statistical area) lists are generated nightly to give you the most up-to-date information on 501(c)(3) organizations in a specific state or MSA. The lists are available for immediate purchase online and are delivered electronically. Each list contains at least 1,000 records, and some have more than 100,000 records.

Each list contains the following fields:
Each list comprises 501(c)(3) organizations that: (1) have been listed as tax exempt in IRS records during the past 18 months and (2) have not been listed as supporting terrorism by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the Department of the Treasury. Data are drawn from more than 1 million current IRS records, Form 990 records, and information provided to GuideStar by the nonprofits themselves. The lists are delivered as Excel 2007 files.
