Get Started

Buying a Pay As You Go Report is quick and easy:

1. Sign in to GuideStar as someone who does not subscribe to either GuideStar Premium or GuideStar Charity Check.
2. Look up the organization you're interested in.

From the Search Results Page

3. Click the Buy Report link under the bar graph in the organization's record in the search results. (To see what's in the report before you buy it, click the Preview Report link.)
4. Click the Add to Cart button in the window that pops up.
5. If you are ready to purchase your report, click the View Cart/Checkout button. If you have other things to do on our site before you complete your purchase, close the pop-up window and carry on. You can access your cart and complete your transaction at any time by click the shopping cart icon at the top of most pages on our site.

From a Nonprofit's Organization Details Page

3. Click the organization's name in the search results.
4. Click the link beside the bar graph that appears at the top of the nonprofit's details page and on the Financials, Forms 990 & Docs, and People tabs of the report.
5. Click the Add to Cart button in the window that pops up. (Click the Preview button in the window to see what's in the report before you buy it.)
6. If you are ready to purchase your report, click the View Cart/Checkout button. If you have other things to do on our site before you complete your purchase, close the pop-up window and carry on. You can access your cart and complete your transaction at any time by click the shopping cart icon at the top of most pages on our site.

How to Access Your GuideStar Premium Pay As You Go Report

There are three ways to access a Pay As You Go Report after you buy it:

1. Click the Download PDF Report link that appears beneath the report's name on the "Order Complete" page. Or
2. Click the link in the confirmation e-mail. Or
3. Click the My Account link at top of most pages on our site, click the Premium Transaction Summary Link, and click the name of the nonprofit whose report you purchased or the View Report link in the Reports Ready to Download table.

Note: You will be able to download your GuideStar Premium Pay As You Go Report(s) from your My Account page for 30 days after purchase. Be sure to save your report(s) to your computer so that you will have them after the 30-day period has passed.
