What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Outpatient Counseling Services
Day One Outpatient Services offer family and individual counseling, group therapy, family counseling, homeless teen outreach, and an Intensive Outpatient Program.
Prevention Services
The Natural Helpers of Maine, a high school peer-listening program.
Residential Treatment Program
Day One's Residential Treatment Program provides a holistic approach to the treatment and recovery of substance use. Adolescents come from communities throughout Maine. The program offers a long-term intensive therapeutic community in three locations for girls and boys ages 14-20. Genders are housed separately. A graduate completes treatment in six months.
Juvenile Justice Programs
Day One counselors provide substance use counseling and rehabilitation services to the 90% of the committed youth who require it at Long Creek Youth Development Centers and to clients incarcerated at Mountain View.
