Cruises aboard the Steamboat Katahdin

Katahdin Cruises and the Moosehead Marine Museum offer a glimpse into the glorious days of steamboating and the heritage of the Moosehead Lake Region. Our primary exhibit, the Steamboat Katahdin, cruises daily from late June through mid-October. The museum tells the story of our region’s marine and lumbering tradition with a display of artifacts and treasures. We welcome visitors from near and far to take a step back in time to experience the vibrant and intriguing history of the region.
