Leadership Intensive

Lift360′s LEADERSHIP INTENSIVE is an experience-based, skill development curriculum for managers and professionals of public, private and nonprofit organizations. The 14-day program spans 8 months from September to April. It includes an Outward Bound component in the beautiful, natural woods of Maine. The program features a community project that implements learned tools and skills in a real issue facing a Maine or New Hampshire community.

Population(s) Served

Lift360 EMERGING LEADERS is a popular and innovative program that prepares and launches leaders 22 to 40 to successful nonprofit board and committee leadership roles.

Population(s) Served

Lift 360 Board Connect is an accelerated, advanced board training and placement program for people who want to join nonprofit boards or committees to support causes and help create vibrant communities. This stimulating 5-session class provides comprehensive board leadership skills tailored for everyday individuals as well as seasoned professionals and offers excellent board matching opportunities for community nonprofits. This 12-week, 5-session program will have a class mix of up to 20 participants, carefully constructed to represent sector and identity diversity. Activities include participatory classroom work with community speakers, immersion learning, and a 1-day experiential leadership component. Learners may work in teams to research a nonprofit organization and observe a board meeting. Reporting back to the class, the entire group learns about the participating nonprofits and gains firsthand knowledge of board functions before being placed on a board or nonprofit committee. Based on their interests, participants are connected with potential board or committee opportunities on one of the 55 nonprofit boards who have participated in past matching Lift360 programs.

Population(s) Served

Lift360 offers a pro bono program for nonprofits called Springboard. Through the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations who are passionate about strengthening the nonprofit sector, Springboard connects a nonprofit with a group of 10-15 volunteer panelists from the private and public sectors for a facilitated 90-minute brainstorming session to help address a key challenge the nonprofit is facing.
