Mercy Hospital a 160 bed community hospital that provides high-quality care based on the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy when the hospital was founded in 1918. VNA Home Health Care has been serving the community since 1921. Monitoring the complications of diabetes, conducting evaluations and assessments of home safety, guiding the rehabilitation process through therapy and instruction, helping individuals and families cope with a terminal illness, holding educations screening, testing and immunization clinics for businesses and the community at large. McAuley Residence is a transitional housing program for women and their children who are ready to change their lives. McAuley offers support to women caught in the endless cycles of addiction, violence, homelessness, and poverty. More importantly it is a program that empowers women to succeed for a lifetime by developing the skills necessary to make long-term, positive life changes. Gary's House is a home away from home for out-of-town families when a loved one is being treated at a local Portland area hospital. It is a place where families can gain strength and support from one another while they cope with the emotional and physical stresses that can accompany illness and hospitalization.
