What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Our ability to perform our mission is resource-limited. We need more to do more. - Financially, we are barely breaking even. - Our volunteer workforce is overcommitted. - Doing more in one area means doing less elsewhere. - Not sustainable without growth. - Need more volunteers and revenue. More members -> More volunteers -> Resources to do more

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

1. Solidify our administrative foundation as a public charity.
2. Perform our core mission of preserving our town’s heritage and making it accessible to our community.
3. Improve our long-term health through fundraising and membership growth.

Publish "want ads" to attract more volunteers.
Increase awareness of programs through newsletters, social media, and other channels.
Offer revenue-generating programs with a broader appeal.
Conduct fundraising appeals tailored for local companies.

Our administrative foundation and core mission capabilities are strong.
Our Internet presence continues to grow.

We are boosting our communications to reach a broader audience.
With the pandemic behind us, we are expanding our in-person activities within the community.
