Program 1

General instruction developed and taught twelve full-term courses in swedenborgian studies to approximately 50 students, of whom ten were swedenborgian and the others from other denominations at pacific school of religion. Research activity is a component of all course development.

Program 2

Student services provided administrative and advising support to students for all aspects of their degree and certificate programs related to their work as swedenborgian students and also including non-swedenborgian students at pacific school of religion who are assigned to the swedenborgian faculty. This activity comprises 25of the work of the dean,30of the work of the shs administrative assistant, and 10of the work of the rest of the teaching faculty at shs.

Library services we continued in FY 2012 to maintain a library of works by and about Emanuel swedenborg in order to provide research support for the study programs of the students. A part-time librarian was employed a half-day a week to support basic cataloging. The library was open only by appointment.
