The Junior League of Worcester will meet its goals to develop the potential of women and improve the community through the continued recruitment and training of volunteers. Volunteerism is increasingly important in peoples' lives, from Youth Philanthropy and those just out of college to experienced professionals and homemakers. The Junior League of Worcester will expand its outreach to these groups in order to increase membership. This will allow the Junior League of Worcester to expand its services within the Worcester community.

The Junior League of Worcester trains its members to work in all aspects of a nonprofit, including programming, fundraising, grant writing, board positions, marketing, communications, and scholarship. The Junior League of Worcester is able to leverage its effectiveness in the community through Community Partnerships. Working together for a common goal, such partnerships allow for a sharing of time and resources, while having a greater impact on the community. To that end, the Junior League of Worcester works with a number of organizations to provide self-sufficiency workshops for Worcester youth. In addition, the Junior League of Worcester is able to assist a variety of like-minded organizations with short term projects, including nonprofit events and project completion.

In 2014-2015, the Junior League of Worcester welcomed new members to participate in training opportunities that included fundraising, programming, and volunteering. As new members learn about the history of the Junior League of Worcester and its impact on the Worcester community, they are setting the stage to be leaders within the organization and community.

Food4Thought expanded its outreach within the Worcester community, working with new groups to meet the needs of middle school girls. Workshops were held on self-confidence, body image, healthy and wellness, science, career readiness, and fundraising.
