Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We are strive to empower and equip people to be like Jesus – loving, compassionate, kind, joyful, generous, just, peaceful, humble, and merciful. We seek to share God’s love in practical ways in our community with people of all ages and without distinction. We see our facilities as a tool to serve the community and through our generous giving and volunteering make a lasting difference in the lives of thousands of people.

We connect individuals with their God-given identity and purpose through experiences of worship with other spiritual seekers. We assist people to discover their servant profile which includes their spiritual gifts, personal style, and passion and we place them in a role where they can give meaningful service and be a blessing to other people. We encourage people to become a part of a small group for mutual care, belonging, and continued growth and accountability.

Our congregation is one of the largest in our area in terms of people who attend and belong, staff, physical plant, and financial capacity. We also believe strongly in partnering with other social benefit organizations whose purposes are in line with our own including, but not limited to, the Lower Cape Outreach Council, Homeless Prevention Council, Alzheimer’s Family Support Center, and Cape Cod Children’s Place, and Habitat for Humanity. We have cultivated a strong and healthy relationship with our town including the Brewster Library which is our neighbor to the west. We open our facility to town programs and needs and to many organizations. We raise close to $1,000,000 a year almost exclusively from the individuals who are a part of our congregation and from a few grants. We are very well known and respected on Cape Cod.

While we will always be pursuing our mission we will never fully achieve it. However, we can say with confidence that every year we are influencing and impacting the lives of hundreds and hundreds of people who are touched in some way by one of our ministries. We know we’re being successful when we hear the testimonies of people who write, email, call, or share how our church has made a difference in their lives. However, there are still so many people who are hurting, grieving, struggling with innumerable issues including addiction, loneliness, and a lack of purpose and direction and an absence of love in their life that we will never get to a point where our work is finished.
