Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
2020-2021 Virtual Season
CpM's 2020-2021 Virtual Season is about engaging members and audiences in virtual spaces until we are able to "Sing together again!" Online programs will include "A (Virtual) Candlelight Christmas," a "Bach to Basics" musicianship and repertoire immersion program, and a new Driveway Choir initiative that allows us to safely sing together from inside cars using wireless microphones and transmitters.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Chorus pro Musica seeks to become well-known as a premier chorus in Greater Boston, known for its innovative programming, collaborations with other established musical ensembles and artists, new commissions, and community outreach.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
CpM accomplishes this by performing new and rarely heard choral works, increasing communication and outreach with audience members and new communities in Boston, performing at least one major choral work with a world class orchestra per season, and increasing participation of singers in activities beyond concert performances.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have an accomplished and creative musical director, a dedicated and active board and staff, 80 plus singers from around Boston, and relationships already in place with Boston City Singers and the Boston Philharmonic.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We've created a Reach Out and Sing committee, Development Committee, Audience Engagement Committee, premiered works by John MacDonald and Andy Vores, received strong positive critical acclaim for our Journey's concert, and participated in at least one education outreach and two audience outreach events. We have not achieved a steady 80% sell-out rate for audiences, and we are still working on funding from foundations and bringing in more leadership donors to create an endowment fund
