What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

The Jamie McKeown Boys & Girls Club works to address the problem of youth & teens being unsupervised during critical afterschool hours. Research has shown that juvenile crime spikes between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., when kids are out of school and parents are still at work. Additionally, youth need to be supported academically, nutritionally, socially and emotionally while out of the classroom.
