Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

By providing the communities in which we serve our goal is to provide resources for early childhood development, to bring people out of homelessness by providing access to shelter and services to apply for benefits and housing, provide access to free and reduced fee medical, dental and mental health services and to empower the youth in our communities to grow to be productive and responsible members of the world in which we live.

By providing funds to the agencies that are experts in these areas so that they my increase their services. By recognizing the appropriate collaboration of like minded organizations and those that complement the work of others to convene the counterparts and providing guidance to a successful outcomes.

Though limited in manpower within this particular United Way office, UWSSC has been successful over the last 83 years of providing the required resources to successfully coordinate programs that directly impact the residents of our communities. UWSSC does not provide direct services for this reason and depend on the member agencies to perform the required steps to have successful outcomes.

By the outcomes achieved by each organization that UWSCC has a relationship. That over 100 homeless men and women received shelter and assistance to achieve permanent housing. That over 120 children receive early childhood development at the local YMCA. We know that over 600 local residents have received free and reduced fee dental care that spared them the need to have poor dental health. Hundreds more received medical and mental health services. That teens in our area have a safe place to go for monthly activities and others are learning to be leaders. The list goes own and we are able provide the data that our members agencies provide.
