What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Regional Hospice End-of-Life Care and Bereavement Support

We are a nonprofit organization providing unparalleled end-of-life care to our patients and their loved ones in private homes, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities for more than 40 years. We support families with nurses, home health aides, chaplains, social workers, trained volunteers, pain/symptom management, and unique to Regional Hospice, gentle touch massage and sound healing. In 2015, we opened our residential Center for Comfort Care & Healing in Danbury, CT that offers concierge-level, 24/7 care. We also partner with Nuvance Health in Danbury, New Milford & Norwalk Hospitals.
Through the Healing Hearts Program for Grief & Loss, we provide a safe place for families and our community to grieve - welcoming any individual or family who has lost a loved one. Adults and children receive emotional support from Regional Hospice social workers, trained volunteers, and peers who are grieving too. Healing Hearts is the only program of its kind to serve Western Connecticut.
