MTC provides quality arts education in a non-competitive, supportive environment by providing training in a professional company environment with its professional Equity MainStage Company. MTC MainStage

MTC's MainStage is an Equity professional theatre company producing 3 productions/season featuring Broadway actors in cutting-edge and/or new works of the American Musical Theatre.

MTC's School of Performing Arts is the only curriculum-based performing arts training program in Fairfield County for young artists ages 4 - 18. MTC offers a non-competitive enviuronment in which young performers grow, develop and thrive with process-based training enhanced by top-quality performances. MTC provides a large staff of professional teaching artists who reflect a strong commitment to training young artists.

Population(s) Served

MTC's College Bound in the Performing Arts is a nationally-recognized college prep program for high school students seeking admission to top College BFA or BA Musical Theatre and Acting programs. MTC works directly with students and their families to target specific schools and shepherd the applicants through the entire process from school identification through application, audition and selection. A specific 4-year curriculum is offered College Bound students to prepare them for the highly competitive audition proecess and subsequent professional careers that follow.
