Save Africa Concerts Foundation

The primary purpose of Save Africa concerts series will be to provide current, up to date information on HIV/AIDS, HIV Testing and Counseling, Prevention and risk behavior education, awareness of the modes of transmission and the availability of treatment for those who are infected, affected and at-risk. More so, it will bring together all of the related disciplines in a single arena to offer a full range of HIV/AIDS related services, beginning with on-site, anonymous and confidential testing for anyone interested. It is the belief of the Save Africa Concerts Advisory Board that this type of venue has the ability to attract people of all ages because of the medicinal power of music.
Thus, throughout the concert, a combination of communications techniques will be used to promote a variety of messages, all of which will be integrated into the program. Save Africa Concerts has created this series to break the silence that had previously surrounded the HIV/AIDS epidemic among foreign born nationals and people in other countries throughout the world. Underpinning this renewed global resolve in tackling AIDS has been a series of changes in fundamental thinking about the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
