Over the years, Dr. Baehr and the rest of the team has curated a vast network of high-level industry contacts specifically looking for uplifting content. With ScriptList, writers can make their uplifting scripts available to these produces, directors, executives, and other professionals seeking uplifting content. All users on the “industry professionals” side of the website will be vetted for authenticity and protected for their privacy.

Population(s) Served

The class is taught by renowned speaker and film critic Dr. Ted Baehr. It encompasses everything from scriptwriting to the business behind making profitable movies. The annual Movieguide® Awards recognizes the best family-friendly movies and TV shows of the previous year. During this event, the Epiphany Prizes for the most inspiring movie and TV program are also awarded, as well as the $15,000 Kairos® Prize for Spiritually Uplifting Screenplays. In addition to the awards, Dr. Ted Baehr presents his highly anticipated annual statistical analysis based on the Movieguide®’s reviews. His analysis consistently shows that studio executives and filmmakers who make family-friendly, spiritually uplifting content can significantly increase the profitability of their movies.
