Mission

Marquis Studios inspires a passion for learning by bringing the arts into schools. To achieve the highest quality of services, we require ongoing pedagogical training of our teaching artists. By building partnerships between teaching artists and educators, we enable students to reach their full potential. We are making learning a positive experience for every child.

Marquis Studios Provides a Wide Variety of Arts Programming
• Grades Pre-K to 12 in all NYC boroughs
• During the school day or after-school program.
• More than 90 highly trained and creative teaching artists.
• Work extensively with students with disabilities.
• Over 40,000 students in more than 170 NYC public schools.
• Proven quantifiable impact on student learning.

Marquis Studios Art Residencies
Visual Arts, Music, Theater, Dance, Architecture & STEAM Programs
• Provide 10 instruction days of 4-6 class periods.
• Develop partnership between teaching artist and classroom teacher to plan art residency.
• Culminate in either a performance or exhibit of student work.
• Customize programs for each classroom’s curriculum goals which meet Common Core Standards.
• Employ teaching strategies to meet every student’s learning style.
• Supply all art materials.
