What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
CCI Arts Partners™
CCI collaborates with public and private arts organizations around the world that provide opportunities for musicians such as international music festivals, competitions, concerts, instrument loans, scholarships, and other special programs.
CCI Artists™
CCI engages aspiring and professional musicians from around the world as CCI Artists™. Through their dedication to performances, education, and community service, they are the organization's ambassadors of western classical music. CCI provides them with international teaching and performance opportunities, an instrument lending program, and a support network of kindred souls who are diverse in talents and passions yet united in their love of music.
The Power of Pondering (PoP) series
For children ages 8–13, the Power of Pondering is an educational outreach series that combines original musical performance with spoken word. It aims to have music spark the act of pondering to expand their imagination, empathy, and appreciation of their surroundings. The pilot program is based on T.A. Barron’s children's book "Tree Girl."
CCI Musical Phone Pal™
CCI Musical Phone Pal™ uses teleconferencing devices or the phone to bring music and one-on-one conversation to the more vulnerable members of the community who are self-isolating due to COVID-19. This program enables caregivers and musicians to give back to society by providing joy, comfort, and companionship to people in their homes.
Classically Leonia™
The Classically Leonia™ concert series—co-presented with Leonia United Methodist Church in Leonia, NJ—is free to the public. Being free of charge, the series removes barriers that might prevent local residents from regularly appreciating live classical music or from beginning to build a relationship with it.
CCI Distanced but Connected™
This virtual performance series began in April 2020 during the spread of COVID-19, while people were self-isolating. This series brings together artists and allows the perform remotely together as well as bring their music to audiences around the world. It serves as a reminder that during difficult times, music can transcend barriers to reach and unite communities around the world.
CCI Fine Instrument Center™
The CCI Fine Instrument Center™ is dedicated to the conservation, preservation, exhibition, and use of the world’s finest stringed instruments.
CCI Talks™
Presented by the CCI Fine Instrument Cultural and Education Center™, CCI Talks™ is a free webinar series explores various classical music topics with luthiers, players, experts, and collectors.
CCI Morning Music Break™
After the onset of COVID-19, this curated playlist featuring CCI Artists™' past performances was developed to continuously bring music to audiences remotely.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
CCI aims to continue to widen its musical reach, increase its support of its artists, and deepen its impact on audiences.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Continue to add international artists to the Si-Yo Artist™ roster and offer more performance and educational opportunities to them, both virtually and in-person (as more pandemic restrictions lift); continue to provide grants to support their creative projects and emergency needs.
Grow the Si-Yo Fine Instrument Cultural and Educational Center to make it a global leader of fine instrument conservation, preservation, exhibition, and use.
Continue to find new ways to bring music to more audiences, such as expanding the Si-Yo Musical Phone Pal™ program, which uses teleconferencing devices or the phone to bring virtual performances and friendly conversation to those who are isolated, such as the elderly.
