Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Adirondacks provide a source of inspiration and opportunity for artistic expression. View is dedicated to inspiring the lives of individuals visiting or residing in this magnificent natural area. It also serves as a community center, a conference facility and a venue for special events.

View is collaborating with other organizations to build community throughout the region to highlight the benefit of art, and culture to spur civic engagement.

View was established in 1951 and has a long history starting as a grassroots organization and developing into the major arts and events venue in the Adirondacks. Through the support of numerous benefactors, the organization is gaining momentum to eliminate the financial barriers faced in a small rural community to have true impact.

Within the past year the organization has cut it's debt in half and is working to eliminate all mortgage debt by 2019. With the addition of new creative staff and a business oriented Executive Director and management, the organization has created focus to see real progress in it's offerings in the fine arts, but also creating communities of artist in a variety of mediums.
