Mission

The iLEAP Mission is to nurture a new generation of globally-minded leaders in Japan with the inner and outer resources to pursue lives of purpose and to advance social good. iLEAP designs and delivers a transformational leadership experience that can be customized to meet the needs of those coming from or working in a Japanese context. These trainings take place in Seattle, Washington throughout the calendar year. We have conducted programs as short as one week and as long as eight months; most commonly, programs are one to three weeks in length. Our curricula are centered around learning themes of social innovation and leadership and balances personal inquiry and reflection with social action and collaboration.

iLEAP designs and delivers transformational education experiences that can be customized to both distance and in-person learning environments. The distance education programs are administered through our Global Leadership Academy and in-person education program through our partnership with Western Washington University. We are experienced with conducting programs as short as one week and as long as eight months; most commonly, programs are one to three weeks in length.

Global Leadership

Global Leadership is designed to introduce participants to leadership practices and inspire greater clarity in their lives. The integrated curriculum balances classroom learning with a professional group project and different site visits to Seattle-based businesses and organizations pursuing social good. Program participants also take part in individual advising and coaching sessions which serve to weave the experience together and make it uniquely relevant to his or her life. Global Leadership is offered as a 10 day, two week or three week program throughout the year.

iLEAP exists to nurture a new generation of globally-minded leaders with the inner and outer resources to pursue lives of purpose and to advance social good.

iLEAP offers in-person and distance (online) learning programs for high school and college aged students and young professionals that can be customized to meet the needs of our participants and partners. We have conducted programs as short as one week and as long as eight months; most commonly, programs are one to three weeks in length.

Our curricula are centered around learning themes of education, social innovation and leadership and balances personal inquiry and reflection with collaboration. Each training integrates different learning modalities including reflective, didactic, emotional, experiential, and collaborative.

iLEAP has 15 years of experience designing and delivering successful leadership training programs for young people and leaders. Our impact is backed by qualitative and quantitative outcomes data and brought to life by the loyal and passionate graduates we have all over the world. Our main in-person training facility is located in the growing economy of Seattle, Washington and its layout and design mirrors our intentionality and focus on transformational learning. We have a high-performing staff team with exceptional cross-cultural skills and a deep commitment to this work.

Since 2008, we have trained over 800 people in residential and online programs that have ranged in length from one to five weeks.
