For these important efforts, we help them tap new funding sources, such as workplace fundraising drives.

Combined Federal Campaign
We support member groups so that they can raise funds from federal employees. With these funds, which are unrestricted, our members can have a greater impact year after year. Our goals are to expand the community of charities we support and increase their success in the U.S. Combined Federal Campaign.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Heart & Health Charities supports its member organizations by assisting them in applying to workplace fundraising drives. Our members provide a range of services including health care, education, community outreach, free heart screenings, innovative research solutions and distribution of AED devices, among others. We help these organizations reach new funding opportunities. We are committed to upholding a high standard of efficiency, transparency and stewardship of pledged funds.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Heart & Health Charities facilitates participation in workplace fundraising by providing expert admissions support to our members. We achieve our goal by screening and certifying our members meet eligibility criteria, educate contributors about the work of these worthy causes, and ensure the monies received are used for such purposes.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Heart & Health Charities is the first organization to bring together independent nonprofits specifically focused on preventing and treating cardiovascular disease and other illnesses. We support these organizations by assisting them through complex application materials, reviewing eligibility documentation, representing members before fund drive organizing and/or regulatory authorities, disseminating information about their work to donors, and providing promotional opportunities.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our organization serves 20+ independent nonprofit charities. Heart & Health Charities continues to open its enrollment to new members each fall.
