Mission

The Lake Erie Seaway Trail Center is an independent community-based organization which complements professional tourist promotion agencies by focusing on the niche of the Seaway Trail driving route and promotes traveler engagement with the local community of Hamburg, the Lake Erie and Niagara River sections of the Seaway Trail (a 110-mile corridor), as well as the overall 518-mile national scenic byway. The Center provides public waterfront access, educational exhibits on the natural history of the region, Lake Erie maritime heritage, and the cultural and historical attractions of the area. It serves as a community resource for the people of the local communities and offers a meaningful opportunity for local residents to provide service through volunteerism.
