What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Caring Neighbors Health Care Center, A NJ Nonprofit Corporation is run by a board of directors to oversee a paid staff (2 employees at present) who will direct the activities of a pool of clinical and non-clinical volunteers.
CNHCC will offer service to the appoximately 9,000 individuals who are without insurance in Salem County and meet the 200% Federal Poverty Level guidelines.
The scope of services (ongoing) will expand based on identified needs and available resources. Currently, we offer limited immunizations and free high quality preventive and medical services in a respectful, attentive and efficient environment.
Future hopes are to provide CLIA waived lab testing in house along with various patient education classes on healthy lifestyles, diabetes management, promote literacy and financial health.
We have an operating budget of $300,000.00 annually to provide these services and care for our underserved neighbors.
The beneficiaries of CNHCC will be the entire County of Salem. Our uninsured neighbors will enjoy better health and an improved quality of life, local businesses will benefit form a healthier work force, local at risk children will benefit from healthier parents and the local emergency room can anticipate a decline in the number of uninsured patients seeking care that could be more appropriately provided in a lower level setting. The entire commmunity wins.
