TO PROVIDE THE PUBLIC WITH MATERIALS AND SERVICES WHICH FULFILL EDUCATIONAL INFORMATIONAL CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL NEEDS

Public Libraries, through their summer reading programs, put books in the hands of children. This is the best antidote for the "summer slide" in children's reading achievement. Access to books and library programs over the summer results in more reading which results in improved reading skills.

The Book Club meets the third Wednesday of the monthly at the Library. It is a single-title club, meaning every one in the group reads the same book each month. Books are selected in the Fall for the following year.
