What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Allentown's CORE NPP

Community Action Development Allentown's six-year NPP, Allentown's CORE, presents a framework by which the Neighborhood Partnership Program will provide education, recreational, vocation and citizen engagement opportunity to the youth of Center City. It provides a common reference that all youth-oriented Center City organizations can use to focus resources and activities, yet is not so doctrinaire that it limits creativity and new initiatives. Its implementation is guided by a steering committee comprised of community stakeholders and residents to oversee the Neighborhood Partnership Program. The six-year plan also serves as the foundation to develop and continue partnerships that will be necessary for its successful implementation. These partners include Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley, Cultural Coalition of Allentown, Allentown Parent Network, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Downtown Allentown Community Development Initiative and the Allentown School District, and more.
