Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center

Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center is a 20,000 square foot Museum experience housed in the historic 1832 Lutheran Seminary building in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Inside the walls of the historic Seminary building, men and women spent decades contemplating the role that religion and faith played in the new American Republic. They debated the American experiment in its darkest moments, and watched as their country ripped apart and was reborn. During the battle, they confronted human suffering on a nearly unfathomable scale. They made decisions to undertake extraordinary duty and sacrifice. Today, Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center tells these stories and through accompanying educactional programming, helps current and future generations understand acts of conflict and compassion across the globe.
