Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community Living
Hope Homes offers a variety of Residential Services in group home settings or other independent settings throughout Summit, Greene, Wayne, and Warren counties. Services can be provided on a 24-hour per day, 7 day per week basis or on a more limited or independent basis. Services generally focus on teaching and promoting personal choice, and provision of needed support in areas such as benefit maintenance, budgeting, supervision, health and safety, personal care, shopping, meals, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, activities, socialization, and recreation.
Adult Day Program
Adult day services provide support and supervision to structure meaningful activity at our centers during the day through individualized, on- site and community experiences. We offer personal care, mental stimulation, physical activity, range of motion/ exercise, creative arts, and community field trips. There is no age requirement for the adult day services; however, services are generally provided for individuals who due to age or physical impairments no longer wish to work or participate in special work programs. Our Day Program is located in Stow and hours of operation are Monday- Friday 9am to 4pm.
Nursing Services
Hope Homes has 24 hour nursing services. Nursing services include assessments, treatments, delegations, consultations with staff and team members, training of staff, emergency care and consultations with physicians.
Respite Care
Hope Homes offers respite care when available. And residents will receive the same services that are provided in our Community Living settings.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
1) Care for the adults entrusted to us with passion, caring, and enthusiasm. 2) Maintain vital services, such as nursing, 2) Provide quality residential services that focus on teaching and promoting personal choice, and provision of needed supports in areas such as benefit maintenance, budgeting, supervision, health and safety, personal care, shopping, meals, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, activities, socialization, and recreation. 3) Provide support and supervision to structure meaningful activity at our centers during the day through individualized, on- site and community experiences.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1) Continually request feedback from clients and their families to identify how services can be improved. 2) Continually train staff in industry-standard safety and care techniques.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
All staff undergo continual training in patient care to ensure quality services. All supervisors provide support to caregivers as needed.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Today, Hope Homes provides community based residential homes, supported living programs, adult day services, social and recreational programs, and other services for people with developmental disabilities and other special needs in many locations. Implementation of supports in homes, workplaces, schools and communities requires well-trained and dedicated workers, in many dispersed locations. This type of model calls upon staff to not be part of a top down organization, but rather people who can make independent decisions, solve problems, and enter into creative partnerships with the individuals who receive our services. Hope Homes' employees, in such a system, must take great responsibility and accountability for their work. It is challenging, exciting, and rewarding to be involved in such a meaningful role.
