Mission

PATH was founded by a group of innovative foster parents who shared a vision about a new, more personalized approach to foster care for children and youth with special needs. They believed that these children could be better served in family settings rather than institutional placements. This belief is the foundation of PATH's mission — to serve the community by enhancing the lives of children and families. PATH is nationally recognized as a pioneer in the development of family-based treatment foster care. Currently, PATH serves more than 690 children and 440 foster families in Minnesota, North Dakota and Idaho.
