Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Clowning Workshops
The Clowning for Kidz Foundation sponsors clown arts workshops at various times throughout the year, during which we provide clown arts education to children under the age of 16 free of charge, and adults (for a minimal fee for materials) to learn the art of clowning, and encourage them to use it as a basis for self-empowerment, character building, and a way to develop their public speaking and social skills.
At the end of our workshop, we aspire to inform and empower young people about the importance of civic engagement, and connect them with opportunities to help others through our community appearances, which allow us to share the healing power of laughter, and continue our mission to meet the needs of children.
Educational Workshop Kits
Clowning for Kidz Foundation has several professional teaching kits which are available for schools and daycares to use without cost, so that licensed educators have the tools that they need to help children reach their full potential to be happy and healthy.
"Say No To Bullying!” presents information about the different types of bullying, why people bully and what to do about it. "Safe Touching!” teaches preschool age children what type of touching is and is not appropriate. "The Character Chronicles!” explores the Six Pillars of Character Development (for Grades 4-8).
Community Appearences
Clowning for Kidz appears at various events throughout the region including: parades, festivals, fairs, and tradeshows, with the goal of sharing the the gift of and healing power of laughter to make the world a happier and brighter place for everyone that we meet, as well as to provide our volunteers with a fun way to perform community service.
Helping Children with Therapeutic and Medical Needs
Helping children with medical and therapeutic needs not covered by medical insurance. Clowning for Kidz receives requests/referrals from various medical and therapeutic professionals for assistance for children with various medical and therapeutic needs which are not covered by insurance, and Clowning for Kidz provides one-time specific use micro-grants to help children with those needs to help them reach their full potential to be happy and healthy kids.
Partnerships with Organizations that Help Children
We also partner with and support associations for abused, neglected, and at-risk children, teen scholarships, charitable foundations, and other 501(C)-(3) qualified organizations which help children.
