Mission

Mission The American Pakistan Foundation (APF) empowers the Pakistani American community and its friends through fostering leadership, youth development and civic engagement, while building bridges between the people of the United States and Pakistan. Vision APF envisions an empowered and connected Pakistani American community through all life stages –including a mission-driven youth network leading to lifelong community engagement, along with stronger ties between the US and Pakistan.

APF Pakistan Fellows Program

The APF Pakistan Fellows Program places U.S.-based students and newer professionals with organizations working on Pakistan-centric initiatives, including: social and economic development; public health and telemedicine; policy and international affairs; cultural immersion and education; and decision making and advisory services. Our fellows gain awareness of working in a global context, learn analytical and research skills, develop their career portfolio, engage with mentors and professionals, and look forward in career while giving back to the next generation.
