HXLS goal is to perform scientific research to study the effects of natural herbs which can be served as complementary and/or alternatives to improve the quality of life and/or relief the suffering of the cancer patients with reduced side effect.

HXLS will narrow its initial research on plants that has been used in Asia for thousands of years as listed in one of the oldest known book on agriculture and medicinal plants, the Shennng Ben Cao Jing (SBCJ), Shennong's Materia Medica around 2800 BC.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
HXLS has identifed those plant formulas that exhibit consistent effect in terms of quality of life improvements, and/or reduce the suffering of cancer patients.

HXLS is now advancing from the discovering research and development stage to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) investigation new drug (IND) phase I application
