The College of Western Idaho (CWI) Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, supports the mission of CWI through the development and creation of resources that will improve and advance the College, its programs, and students. The Foundation raises funds from individuals, companies, foundations, and organizations, and invests and manages gifts in accordance with donors' wishes.

Career Technical Education

Our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, are designed to give you comprehensive training in just nine to 24 months so that you can move on to that exciting new job.

These programs are fast-paced, but we set the bar high when it comes to quality. The bottom-line goal is simple: we want employers competing to hire you when you graduate. College of Western Idaho (CWI) partners with local employers to ensure that we are providing the exact skills they are looking for. Going to college is about creating a better future, and we do everything possible to make that happen for you.

Boost your knowledge and potential with short-term, career-focused training through College of Western Idaho's (CWI) Workforce Development program. Non-credit classes, held throughout Southwest Idaho and online, are taught by knowledgeable, engaging, and experienced professionals and are designed to help you quickly gain skills to:

*obtain employment or apprenticeship training
*retrain for new opportunities
*or advance your career.

If you are pursuing a four-year degree, College of Western Idaho (CWI) is a great place to start. Here, you can complete your first two years of college at the same quality level as other schools—but for about half the cost. When you’re ready to do your advanced coursework, CWI credits easily transfer to a four-year college or university.

Change your life with essential skills necessary to reach your goals and be successful in today’s society through College of Western Idaho's (CWI) Adult Education program.

Adult Education classes can help you:

*enhance your math and English skills
*study for the GED test
*or prepare for college or a career.

Classes are FREE to adults 16 and older, not currently enrolled in public school.

College of Western Idaho's (CWI) Dual Credit program is part of a collaborative partnership between Idaho’s colleges, universities, and high schools to deliver college-level courses to high school students.

*Dual credit classes give students the opportunity to receive both high school and college credits for pre-approved courses.
*Students who register for dual credit classes receive a letter grade based on work completed during the duration of the class which will be reflected on a college transcript.
*Dual credits are transferable to Idaho colleges and universities and many other institutions outside of the state.
