What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

24-Hour Hospital Response

Acclivus hospital response teams provide immediate and aftercare services to victims of violence. They arrive in the emergency department upon news of a shooting, stabbing, beating, or other assault or murder. They also serve the victim's family, friends, associates, and others affected by the act(s) of violence. The team's violence interrupters and case managers address issues of grief, and work to prevent and reroute violent mentality and associated behavior. These interventions are known to reduce violent events. The teams work in coordination with Acclivus's community-based programs to ensure ongoing care. A hospital response team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for each of the seven Level 1 trauma centers in Chicago, Illinois.
