CCHS IS A COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM COMMITTED TO PROVIDING QUALITY SERVICES THAT SUPPORT AND NURTURE THE FAMILIES WE SERVE. OUR WORK CONNECTS THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY AS WE PREPARE OUR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN FOR A SUCCESSFUL FUTURE. IN DOING SO, WE BENEFIT NOT ONLY OUR FAMILIES BUT OUR BROADER COMMUNITY AS WELL.

THE FEDERAL HEAD START PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. THIS PROGRAM SERVED 121 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 AND INCORPORATED A COMPREHENSIVE INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AGES 3 TO 5 YEARS OF AGE. THIS PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS SERVICES TO CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES.

ITS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE HEALTHY PRENATAL OUTCOMES FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF VERY YOUNG CHILDREN, AND TO PROMOTE HEALTHY FAMILY FUNCTIONING. THIS PROGRAM SERVED 79 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021
