360 Incubator+
An intensive 3-month incubator, the program provides media makers with creative and business management workshops, network building, tools for a successful pitch, and one-on-one mentoring from talented media makers.
PitchBlack Forum
PitchBLACK Forum is a high-stakes funding competition for documentary and emerging media producers/directors developing new projects about the Black experience. Producers pitch their projects hoping to be among the finalists selected to receive up to $150K in project funding.
BPMPlus
BPMPlus is a talent and professional development program to support creative technologists producing content on emerging media platforms.
AfroPoP: The Ultimate Cultural Exchange
AfroPoP is an anthology series of independent documentaries and short films highlighting stories of the contemporary African diaspora. It is broadcast on WORLD Channel and other PBS Stations. AfroPoP’s stories are beautifully and poignantly told. Black Public Media is committed to bringing to the American public these stories and others that celebrate the art, culture, and creativity of people of African descent.
Black Media Story Summit
BPM’s Black Media Story Summit gathers media industry stakeholders locally and nationally, encouraging them to share, network, and explore existing and new models of support to build and strengthen opportunity and access for Black content creators developing social change stories.
