Maintain excellence in programs and care. \nProvide Integration for people to more fully be part of their community.\nHire and train excellent staff that engage with the individuals.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Offer well rounded programs that provide individuals opportunity to socialize, keep fit, explore interests.\nRespond to the interests of each individual to explore and more fully be a part of the community.\nOffer higher wages and train on latest and best practices while ensure Health and Safety.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
CRS has continually offered outstanding programming.\nCRS is committed to listening and offer integration for all served\nCRS struggles to pay at higher wages as we are dependent on what we receive from the State.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have collaborated with HCDDS on Integration. We have Promoted Healthy Choices with a focus on Diabetics. We had 4 new people move into homes. We offered Programs/Activities: Zumba, Water Fitness, Basketball, Choir, Walking Team, Bowling, Gentle Movement, Tomato Growing Contest. We revised our Orientation and added an online Training. We held a Community Give Back event where the clients in the Choir performed at a nursing home. Updated decor in homes. Collaborated with college and high school service programs.
