Affordable Housing
Affordable Housing has secured funds to complete units, both rehabilitated and new construction. Under THDA's NSP and City CHDO programs we have purchased residential properties, demolished the existing abandoned and dilapidated structures and constructed new single family rental housing. We have taken steps to address an urgent and immediate need in this community: address abandonment, eliminate blight and reduce deterioration. In their Stead, we have provided safe, affordable, and quality permanent rental housing for a neighborhood in dire need.
Promise Leasing
The project of the 100,000 Homes Campaign whose goal is to identify and house 100 of the most vulnerable homeless citizens. The campaign is headed by Community Alliance for the Homeless and includes additional support services through a gran from Shelby County Government for wraparound services.
Memphis Strong Families
Memphis Strong Families provides housing for homeless families and families with a member with a physical disability.
