Recycling Lives, Glass Collection

The non-profit corporation, Recycling Lives, received a donated box truck and will train a crew of employees (homeless and others in need of work) to collect glass from various Bakersfield businesses, sort the glass, and prepare the glass for the pulverizing process.

Population(s) Served

Employees will be trained to use the Andela Glass Pulverizer GP-1HD System and other equipment to process the recycled glass collected from local businesses.

Employees will be trained to apply the pulverized recycled glass in various landscape projects including private yards, businesses, and public spaces.
