Mission

Hooves & Paws is dedicated to saving the lives of abused and abandoned animals. We rescue and rehabilitate animals and place them in carefully screened adoptive homes. Animals who are not adopted are provided lifelong loving care at our sanctuary. We currently have about 150 animals who call our sanctuary home.

What we aim to solve

We are working to address the problems of animal cruelty by saving the lives of abused and abandoned animals, particularly those with complex medical issues. We strive to reduce the euthanasia of animals by financially supporting the spay and neuter of pets in disadvantaged areas. And we work to find loving adoptive homes for our rescued animals once they are healthy. Animals who are not adopted, are guaranteed lifelong care at our sanctuary. Overall, we strive to spread love and kindness for all animals.

We aim to have a direct impact on the lives of abused and abandoned animals. We also aim to combat animal cruelty at its source by promoting consequences for abusers. We focus on promoting a more kind and compassionate world for animals.

We have a direct impact by saving the animals who are in desperate need and who have nowhere else to go. We provide them with all the love and care they need and deserve. We also work with law enforcement to pursue consequences for animal abusers. We visit schools and provide sanctuary tours in our efforts to promote a more compassionate world.

We have a very dedicated staff and team of volunteers who devote their time and energy to our animals and our programs. We are also very supported by our community members and animal lovers all over the country.

We have rescued hundreds of animals and continue to be more effective every year. We intend to expand our rescue, sanctuary and humane education programs to have a more far-reaching impact.
