After-School Arts Program

Provides homework help, a healthy meal and instruction in art, music, drama and dance during weekday afternoons throughout the school year. Our current after-school programs are Intergalactic Visual Arts, STAGES Performing Arts, Rainey Dance Academy, El Sistema @ Rainey, and Art Adventures (grades K - 2).

Classes in multiple arts areas for students of all ages that include community collaboration with Cleveland based artists and organizations.

Rainey partners with local neighborhood daycares and preschools to provide weekly arts programming for preschoolers, ages 3-5. Children participate in an inquiry-based approach to age-appropriate visual and performing arts lessons.

Four-week, all-day camps for 180 3rd-8th graders each summer offering exploratory and mastery classes as well as arts-integrated academics. Students also experience a daily “Tea Time,” field trips, and our Finale Festival at the end of camp.

Teens undergo leadership training and community service. Culminates with a paid work opportunity at Rainey's Summer Arts Camp.
