Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Ending poverty requires a two-geneartion approach, which means we must assist both parents and children. A child's success depends upon their family's ability to meet their needs. In our approach, Catholic Charities, along with many partners, we provide support and services designed to help families flourish. In our Bridge to Self-Sufficiency (please see our website for more information) model, we work with individuals and families to stabilize a crisis through degree completion or job acquistion and retention, through sound management of finances.

Constituents served at Catholic Charities typically face complex, chronic concerns that prevent them from moving ahead in their lives. These barriers and needs often require years of support and intervention to overcome. We specialize in professional case management for people of all ages, job training and job development, refugee resettlement, legal immigration services, adoption planning and placement, and mental health treatment. Our strategies are designed to bridge gaps that inhibit thriving and reaching one's goals and full-potential. We also engage partners and community members in our strategic initiatives.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Inc. (CCFWSB) is part of a large network of Catholic Charities agencies across the United States. Catholic Charities agencies are experts on poverty issues and other challenges to dignity in the United States. We are experts because we see these social problems every day in our work in homes, in the streets, in schools, in hospitals, in mental health facilities, and the community-at-large.
